Secrets of the Wildflowers grabs your attention from the first three chapters. I have just discovered Christian Historical Fiction and I am in deep love with the genre. Sarah Talbert’s debut novel is a solid four stars for me.

The depth of research is evident throughout the pages of the book. Miu runs away from the harsh reality of what service to the gods she and her family believed in entailed.
